One Man Can Make A Difference!

The second annual Palisades Reads will be the last two weeks of May, 2010. We are sponsoring a community read of Mountains Beyond Mountains by Tracy Kidder. This is the inspiring story of Dr. Paul Farmer who has dedicated his life to bring medical care to some of the poorest people in our world. He has spent much of his efforts in Haiti. One local Haitian told Kidder this about Farmer: "God gives everyone a gift and his gift is healing."  Along the way, Farmer has founded Partners in Health.
