Palisades Reads
Palisades Reads started as a yearly book discussion along the lines of one book one city.
It has now expanded to one major book selection, held in the Spring, and smaller book discussions/film screenings held more often.
The schedule for 2012:

Jimmy Williams and Susan Heeger discuss their book, From Seed to Skillet, as part of Palisades Reads 2011.
Past selections of Palisades Reads include: The Soloist, Mountains beyond Mountains, The Omnivores Dilemma, Animal, Vegetable, Miracle, Anticancer. We donate copies of the book selections to our local library.
